This is an introduction to The Priory Post as
a web site rather than a pictorial Magazine.
The last issue of the Priory Post as a Magazine was in Spring 2009 then the magazine was  cancelled by the then Chairman of the Residents Association as not being the style of magazine that he thought was suitable for the residents.  The Magazine was, as you know introduced in the form that you had by  the late Graham Quatermass-Lewis who had handed over the reins to Les Nicholass.  Les Nicholass still considers himself the Editor of that Magazine and, as such, decided the content without reference to the Residents Committee.  The Magazine will be now continued as an instrument of information and it is hoped of interest to the Residents, without charge of any kind and hopefully, will be  ongoing,  and updated on a regular basis to keep you all abreast of what is on offer in the way of services and entertainment on Priory Court.
One of the things that is currently on going is the negotiations with the Ipswich Borough Council about the state of repair of the Access Road from the Nacton Road and also the necessity of naming that Access Road so that the Services Industry actually know where we are when they need to come to the Court.
A well meaning and well intentioned individual is presently filling all the cavities which litter the roadway with Oggin, a mixture of Clay, sand and Gravel which, when packed down often serves as filling to help passage of vehicles without constantly falling into pot-holes.  This, while is kindly and helpful will not be a permanent solution but will be sufficient during the present clement weather
.
At the top of each page is the email address of the Editor to whom you may send any item of interest that you wish the residents to see.
If you want,  you may high-light the editorial on any page, copy and save it into a Word document and save and/or print it out.  The content is of course copyright to Les but you have this permission without reservation.
Should you wish to have the email address (
yourname@priory-post.co.uk)   this can be arranged as soon as I have your email address that you want it to point  to.  When you have that address, any mail sent to it would appear in your inbox to your normal email address in your computer.
For instance (lesnicholass
@priory-post.co.uk)  will be sent to (leslie.nicholass@sky.com)
